How Does Your State Rank In Power Grid Reliability?

Ranking High Is Great, But Truth Be Told-- All States Have Power Issues. Energy Demands Are Growing And Power Outages Are Becoming More Common. How Are You Going To Protect Your Livelihood?

How reliable is the power in your home state? These days that’s a bit of a scary question or even to learn the answer. Demand for power is growing with the population and the dependence on devices, not to mention electric cars. The grid can’t keep up with the increased demands, but then add in weather events, natural disasters, and the rising number of attacks on the power grid, and you start to wonder if you can even depend on the infrastructure anymore.

The Department of Energy compiled this report to show ranking of reliable the power grid is and the number of minutes of power outages the average customer experiences in a year in each state, according to US News & World Report. They might be ranked by reliability, but bottom line-- all face significant challenges today and more in the years to come as the variables increase with demand, heat, cold, storms, and more. Where does your state rank?pexels-bhargava-marripati-2314361-(Custom)-(1).jpg

No matter what state you call home, keep in mind, infrastructure and power grid challenges are only getting worse. Ranks are simply that! This list can best be summed up when comparing to a classroom. The top grade/rank is probably a B+ and the rest of the class is getting Cs, Ds, and Fs. They will not change much, but the challenges our energy systems face are escalating all the time. Make your own luck and back up your business with standby power. See our full inventory or call (877) 866-6895 and ask questions. We are glad to match your needs with the right unit for your situation.
