Field Services Team Serves As Lifeline For Regional Medical Facilities

Our Austin team was at it again this past week. A local medical facilities operation needed three commercial generators serviced as they had run into trouble with their current generator field services provider. So, our team gladly stepped up and answered the call.

“An emergency service management company called us requesting a proposal for a preventative maintenance agreement for services on three units backing up and support their facilities,” said Chris Betros at our Austin, TX location. “The customer wasn’t happy with their provider due to slow response times. They said sometimes they’d have to schedule multiple days or even weeks out.

“The current generator service supplier also would no call or were a no show on them the day of scheduled visit, not informing customer what was going on throughout the service, and they also dealt with fluctuating parts pricing,” added Betros.

“After presenting our proposal and winning their business within one week of the agreement signing, services were scheduled and parts were ordered,” continued Betros. “We arrived on time, kept the customer up to date throughout the service events on all equipment, including all annual service with either building load test and/or load bank) and kept pricing same as quoted.”

The Austin Field Services team completed the maintenance and service on Kohler and Generac commercial units ranging in size from 20 kW to 200 kW. Our team works on industrial and commercial units ranging from 20 kW to 4000 kW.

“The customer stated multiple times to our sales manager Joey, that James went above and beyond by keeping them updated as well as those individuals in the ER while services were being performed,” added Chris Betros back at our Austin office. “The customer also stated that James thoroughly cleaned the units while performing services, something that the previous company never done.

“We also found that during the building load test for the physician’s offices, the HVAC wasn’t on back up power; the customer mentioned that the physician would always say something about the building/office’s getting extremely hot around the times services were being performed but that they could never figure out why. Due to James’ efforts and due diligence, the customer was promptly notified about the disruption and corrective actions are now underway.”
